The real problem

Good English
is not a good band.

IELTS does not measure how well you speak. It measures how well you answer the question in front of you, in the time you are given, in the way the descriptors reward.

You answered a different question

Task 2 asks you to discuss both views and give your opinion. Give only your opinion and the band drops, however good the English is.

You run out of time

Forty reading questions in sixty minutes, with no extra time to transfer answers. Without skimming and scanning drilled in, the last passage becomes guesswork.

Nobody ever marked your writing

You can write essays for months and repeat the same four mistakes. Without marking against the descriptors, practice just makes the habit permanent.

What you walk away with

A band you've hit,
not one you hope for.

Every module is practised on the real format and marked against the real criteria, so by the end you know your score before the exam tells you.

  • Writing Task 1 and Task 2 structures you can reproduce under time
  • A speaking routine for all three parts, rehearsed in mock interviews
  • True / False / Not Given and the other traps, drilled until automatic
  • A timing plan for every section, tested in full mock conditions
  • Your own list of repeat mistakes, closed one at a time

Learning gives you the knowledge. Practice gives you the confidence.

Curriculum

15 classes.
In order.

Each class takes one part of the exam and drills it on the real format. Nothing here is theory you can't use in the test.

01

The exam, honestly

Format, timing and what the band descriptors actually reward — so you stop losing marks to the rules.

02

Listening: accents and signposts

Following British, Australian and North American speakers, and hearing the words that tell you an answer is coming.

03

Listening: forms, maps and matching

The question types that catch people out, and the spelling and number rules that quietly cost marks.

04

Listening under time

A full section, timed, then the replay — where exactly your attention slipped, and why.

05

Reading: skimming and scanning

Finding the answer without reading the passage. The single biggest change to your reading score.

06

Reading: True / False / Not Given

The question type that decides bands. What "Not Given" really means, and how to stop over-thinking it.

07

Reading: headings and the rest

Matching headings, sentence completion and multiple choice, each with its own approach.

08

Writing Task 1: Academic

Charts, graphs, tables and processes — selecting what matters and reporting it without opinion.

09

Writing Task 1: General Training

Formal, semi-formal and informal letters, and hitting the right tone for each.

10

Writing Task 2: the structure

A paragraph plan that works for every essay type, so you never stare at a blank page.

11

Writing Task 2: range and accuracy

Argument, examples, linking and the vocabulary range the descriptors ask for.

12

Speaking Parts 1 and 2

Warm-up answers and the two-minute long turn, with the note-taking minute used properly.

13

Speaking Part 3

Abstract questions and follow-ups — developing an opinion out loud without losing fluency.

14

Full mock test

All four modules, timed, in one sitting, exactly as the real day runs.

15

Reading your mock

Your marked paper, module by module — what to fix first, and what to leave alone.

How it runs

Classes to learn.
Practice to improve.

The same method as every VocaPath course — because it's the part that makes a skill stick.

STEP 01

Join your live class

Small groups on Google Meet, at the timing you chose. Small on purpose — everyone speaks and writes, every session.

STEP 02

You sit the real thing

Every class includes timed practice on the real exam format. You feel the clock in class, not for the first time on exam day.

STEP 03

Your work comes back marked

Essays and speaking recordings sent between classes, returned with specific notes against the band descriptors. Not a grade — a fix.

Questions

Before you enroll.

Do you cover Academic and General Training?

Both. The Listening and Speaking modules are identical either way, and the course splits where the exam splits — Reading and Writing Task 1. You tell us which version you're sitting when you enroll, and you get the classes and practice for yours.

What band will I get?

Nobody can promise you a band, and you should be careful of anyone who does. What we can do is show you where you're scoring now in a marked mock, tell you honestly how far that is from your target, and give you the practice to close the gap.

My English is weak. Should I do this or the English Path?

Tell us and we'll say honestly. IELTS prep teaches you to pass an exam — it assumes you already have the English and need the technique. If you still freeze in a normal conversation, the English Path first will get you a better band in the end. Take the assessment and we'll point you the right way.

Do I need a laptop?

A phone is enough to join the live classes. For writing practice a laptop is far more comfortable, and if you're sitting the computer-delivered test you should be typing your essays, not writing them by hand.

How long before I'm ready to sit the exam?

Most students book their test for a few weeks after the course ends, once their mock scores have settled where they want them. We'll tell you in the last class whether we think you're ready or whether waiting a month is the better bet.

Is the exam fee included?

No. The course fee covers the preparation. The IELTS test fee is paid separately to the British Council, IDP or your test centre when you book your date.

What are the class timings?

Three options: 6:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM. You pick one when you message us and get the exact schedule once your payment is confirmed.

How do I enroll and pay?

Message us on WhatsApp. We share the account details, you pay the fee and send the payment screenshot. Once we confirm it, you get your schedule and Google Meet link.

Is the fee refundable?

No — fees are non-refundable once your seat is confirmed. Batches are kept small and your place is held for you, so a seat given up late cannot be filled. If you are unsure the course fits you, take the free assessment or message us before you pay — we would rather answer your questions first.
